Evidence from the Bible for the 7th day Sabbath.

Sabbath Blessings...

Thumbs Up Observing the Sabbath has many blessings...

a) Isaiah 56:2 “Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.”

b) Isaiah 58:13 “If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words, Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth, And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

c) John 15: 10-11 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy many remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”

d) Ezekiel 20:12 “Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.”

Remembering the Sabbath every week serves as a continual reminder of God and what he does for us.

e) Revelation 22: 14 “Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.”

The fourth commandment is a weekly reminder to us that God loves us, wants to sanctify us, and hasn't forgotten us. He specifically said "Remember" before the fourth commandment, perhaps because he knew it would be forgotten by so many people. The fourth commandment, out of all 10, is the only one that has been discarded by the majority of Christians. Yet, during these end times, knowledge of the Sabbath is becoming more wide-spread and many are accepting this blessing into their lives. It truly is a delight!
